Principles
Six rules that decide most design questions in Antz.
The principles
| Principle | What it means | In practice |
|---|---|---|
| Figma is the source | Copy the frame exactly; departures are questions, never silent choices | Put the build beside the Figma frame before sharing |
| Say it once | One fact in one place | No sentence that repeats a label, count or status |
| One container | Never a card inside a card | Border or shadow, not both |
| Colour means something | Colour marks state or action | No colour stripes or decorative tints |
| Read and act are separate | The read view is clean; changes happen in one form or the more menu | No add or remove on every row |
| No new states | Use an existing note, chat, filter or linked record before adding a status | Waits and reasons are content, not states |
